Recent graduates of animal husbandry courses often face the dilemma of seeking employment without the benefit of on the job experience. As many know, this is often an impediment to gaining employment because many employers seek only those with previous experience.

Our Internship programs are 6 and 12 months in length. The programs operate 5 days each week including one day of study guided by Dr. Andre Ngo, PhD., Curator of Reptilia Inc.

As well, Interns become Cast Members of Reptilia and are entitled to benefits through Reptilia’s membership in Tourism Toronto.

From an economic perspective, although no Internship positions are compensated Roles, Reptilia provides Interns with the ‘First Call’ on Birthday Host & Educators Roles, given that they are qualified to hold such.

Reptilia is deeply involved in the Education System in Ontario and for those interested in curriculum, we are currently broadening our programs offerings. Volunteer positions on the ad hoc committees are available, should this be on interest to you while you are Interning at Reptilia.
