Emerald tree boas, Corallus caninus, is still one of the most sought after species of boa. The beautiful colour of these snakes and their habit of perching in trees in very neat coils makes them a fantastic display animal. Domestically bred animals are not easy to come by. Many wild caught specimens are still being sold by most dealers. The animal pictured here is a domestically bred female that will be part of a future breeding project at Reptilia. (Photo: Joshua V.
