African Fat-tailed Geckos are a popular lizard in the pet industry. The animal in this photo is a referred to as a striped morph. Unfortunately, most of the animals available for sale are wild caught animals that frequently have problems with parasites and may not adjust well to captivity. Getting these animals to breed in captivity is not too difficult. The trick is incubating and hatching the eggs successfully. A 60% hatch is a great success rate with Fat-tailed Geckos!
