This male gray tree frog (Hyla versicolor) is calling. Most frog species will call during the mating season in order to find each other in the hopes of mating. The fascinating thing about the gray tree frog is that it will not call unless the temperature is above 14 Celcius. This photograph was taken at night during the early spring. (Photo: Josh V. Feltham)
