At last, a book that explodes the mystique surrounding one of the planets most beautiful snakes.  Greg Maxwell has provided a book with every possible answer that a chondro keeper could ask. Maxwell's passion, knowledge, and experience is shared in 247 pages of beautifully written manuscript. Not only does Maxwell dispels many myths about the green tree python - for example, the fact that they cannot be handled is refuted; the notion that they fare better in vertical tanks is dispelled, and the list goes on.  Another added bonus is the superb photography. Different races are shown clearly for easy identification.  Close up shots of hatchlings can make a devout lizard lover a chondro keeper in seconds.  Every aspect of green tree python husbandry is detailed in 15 info packed chapters.  The most impressive is without doubt the captive breeding section. Again, Maxwell provides proven data that will in the near future make the accomplishment of breeding green tree pythons a reality for more and more people!  The last chapter of the book is dedicated to some of the more common problems that can occur, each one is addressed in turn and potential remedies are discussed.  As Greg Maxwell says, "Quality is Contagious!"
