Making your Party a Success

Reptilia is committed to making your birthday party experience second to none.  Please read our tips below to help ensure you and your guests have a great party.

Suggestions for Parties at Reptilia

• We want you to have enough food and space please confirm attendance and group size accurately. 
• Ensure your guests arrive on time so that your party is not delayed.  We suggest asking them to arrive 5-10 minutes before the actual start time.
• Car pool to ensure your guests arrive together.
• Your party package includes unlimited time in the zoo.  Plan to spend at least 25-30 minutes looking at exhibits.
• If you plan to take in one of our theatre shows, we suggest adding 45-50 minutes to your time. 
• Bring a camera camera and sufficient film or storage disks.
• Bring a video camera and tapes. 
• Make sure your camera batteries are fully charged and/or bring spare batteries.
• If you don't have a camera or video recorder, bring a pad of paper and a pencil and draw pictures!

Suggestions for Parties at Your Home

• Have a clear area large enough for everyone to sit comfortably in a half-circle.
• If indoors, plan to have the show in a warm room.  The basement is not an ideal location as it is typically too cool for the animals.
• If outdoors, plan for a shady place for everyone to sit.  The show is about 1 hour long - too long to have children sitting in the sun.
• If outdoors, make sure you have an alternate indoor location available should the weather be too cool or rainy.
• Do not plan to eat and have the show at the same time.
