Part-time to Full-time
New program co-coordinators are now working in Toronto, Durham,
Peel, and the Guelph/Kitchener-Waterloo area. They are booking
educational programs and appearances in those regions and instructors
are needed to provide the services. This
position starts out as a part time position and progresses to full time
as booking volume increases.
Responsibilities include:
provided educational and entertaining programs for people of all ages
handle a variety of reptiles
transport reptiles to the location of the bookings
ensure proper care of reptiles during transport and program delivery
promote Reptilia's zoo and services as part of each program
Qualifications:
Excellent knowledge of and experience with reptiles and amphibians
Experience providing programs for children and adults
Sound knowledge of science (especially biology)
Enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated
Excellent verbal communication skills
Available to work some weekends
Must have a vehicle
We are also seeking instructors who are able to speak Italian, French, and Hebrew.

Program Coordinator - Peel Region, Durham Region, and Toronto
Reptilia is expanding its offsite services to
include Peel Region, Durham Region, and increase our ability to service
the Toronto area. Program Coordinators are needed to contact
current and prospective clients and book programs on behalf of Reptilia
Responsibilities include:
maintain excellent relationship with current clients
obtain new clients
book programs (including education, special events, fairs, and festivals)
schedule all bookings
bill customers for services booked
ensure payment is collected for all bookings
Qualifications:
Enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated
Excellent verbal communication skills
Organized and detail oriented
Some knowledge of business accounting
Must have a vehicle

developing and maintaining good relationships with clients
care for animals in the reptile store

General Description
Reptilia’s website is getting an overhaul and we are looking to improve our presence on the web with new and innovative ideas. To accomplish this goal we need to hire the person to get the web work completed. The web designer will handle all aspects of web design and maintenance. First and foremost, the transition from current website to new site will be completed by the webmaster. Regular weekly updates will be completed by the webmaster.
Specific Duties of the Web Designer/Master
Update websiteEnsure proper function of all links and media on the site
Work to improve web site placement on most popular search engines
Develop new enriched section on the web.
Maintain members subscription section of the site
Maintain the online store
Attributes & Knowledge
Software – Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Cold Fusion, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Image Ready, Adobe Acrobat etc. – must have good working knowledge of and experience with this software
Knowledge of how search engines operate
Experience and knowledge of online store fronts and their operation
Photography skills an asset
Detail oriented
Time management skills an absolute necessity
Characteristics
Detail oriented but able to move through a lot of data in an effective way
